JamesWorks, a subsidiary of Christopher Gay Design, specializes in custom design and fabrication.  Since 1995, founder Christopher James Gay has been helping customers achieve their unique visions through efficient, innovative design solutions coupled with exquisite craftsmanship.  Our customers come from various industries, including architectural and construction, marine and motorsports, and furniture and fine art.  Our designs and fabrications are found on championship winning, state-of-the-art race cars and boats,  as well as in the architecture of clients such as Hilton, the University of California, and the United States Navy.

Maintaining a balance between an old-school approach and hi-tech efficiency, JamesWorks often combines technology’s latest laser or CNC applications with time-tested 100 year-old equipment to complete parts of the same project.  Over the years, our experience has enabled us to work on a wide array of projects for a diverse list of customers.  We are known for our expertise in seamlessly combining disparate materials, including carbon fiber, metals, woods, glass, plastics, and concrete, and we offer top-quality welding services, with an emphasis in the fabrication, welding, and finishing of stainless steels and nickel alloys, including Inconel.
